| Event organiser Matt Nixon shared his thoughts: “Another brilliant B-Tech Invitational Golf Day! With a whopping x21 teams attending, our golf day has really evolved into a key industry date in the calendar. We love hosting this event every year as a reward for all our loyal customer & partner friends. The golf day was again held in memory (& always will be) of our former colleague and dear friend Norman Case, with players competing for ‘The Norman Case Memorial Trophy’. We’ve raised over £4,000.00 today from attendee donations and charity hole games out on the course. The longest drive with a relic (very old wooden drivers) being very popular & brings some extra fun into the action. All monies raised are for The Sickle Cell Society, chosen by Norman’s family. As always, I’ve been truly humbled by the response we’ve had in supporting Norman’s day & keeping his memory alive. This year was our 10th golf day & yet again the weather was perfect, the golfing standard was high (in places), and the venue provided us with an excellent course and a buffet of BBQ food. It’s crazy to look back at our first golf day in 2014 when we had x36 players attend. If you look at where we are now, it’s a huge testament to see how much B-Tech has grown with our key industries. Delivering this day to our partners to show our appreciation is exactly what we should be doing, as they are the prime reason for our sustained growth. Huge thanks to the incredible B-Tech team for their tireless efforts, and to the staff at Frilford Heath who helped ensure the day ran smoothly. Most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us. I love the day’s atmosphere which everyone contributes too, it’s so chilled out, relaxed and a good laugh all round’. ________________________________________ Roll of Honour – 2026 • Special B-Tech Award: 20 Years Service - Gary Purton • Longest Drive: Anton Vidal - Midwich • Nearest the Pin: Will Hickmott - Design Integration • Longest Drive with a Relic: Rober Dunn - CDW • Winning Team: Karl Robinson - Clevertouch, Matt Stoddard - Clevertouch, Gavin Dunleavy DVS, Michael Taylor - DVS • 2nd Place Individual: Matt Stoddard - Clevertouch • 1st Place Individual: Debbie Carter - DC Secure Link ________________________________________ There’s still an opportunity to support the Sickle Cell Society if you were unable to attend the event or don't play golf.
